01

Medical Emergency Consent & Health Disclosure

Emergency treatment authority, serious risk acknowledgement, medical disclosure, and boarding medical clearance.

Signed by:
  • The parent/guardian confirms that all known medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, medication needs, learning or behavioural needs, previous serious illness, hospitalisation history, emergency contacts, and doctor/hospital information have been disclosed fully and truthfully.
  • The parent/guardian understands that incomplete or false medical information may delay enrollment, prevent boarding placement, or result in withdrawal/review of the admission if it creates risk for the child, other students, or staff.
  • If the child becomes ill, injured, unconscious, distressed, or requires urgent care and the parent/guardian cannot be reached quickly, ICC and authorised staff may take reasonable good-faith action to protect the child, including first aid, contacting emergency services, transporting the child to a clinic/hospital, or authorising urgent assessment by a qualified medical provider.
  • The parent/guardian acknowledges that medical emergencies can carry serious risks, including deterioration, permanent impairment, disability, or death, even where the school and medical providers act promptly and reasonably.
  • The parent/guardian agrees that ICC, its directors, staff, nurses, boarding staff, and authorised representatives shall not be held liable for good-faith emergency decisions or outcomes arising from a medical emergency, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, including proven gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or intentional harm.
  • The parent/guardian remains responsible for medical bills, emergency transport, prescriptions, specialist care, hospitalisation, follow-up care, and any medical costs not expressly covered by the school in writing.
  • Boarding requirement: a current medical check-up/fitness report, immunisation evidence where applicable, and truthful boarding health declaration must be submitted and reviewed before a child is finally accepted into the boarding house.
02

Enrollment Contract

Admission, placement, behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, and school policies.

Signed by:
  • Admission is subject to ICC review, entrance assessment where applicable, document verification, interview, class capacity, payment requirements, and final school approval.
  • ICC may determine or recommend the appropriate class, programme, campus, boarding status, or support pathway based on academic evidence, assessment results, age, previous school records, medical information, welfare needs, and the child’s best interest.
  • The parent/guardian agrees that the student must comply with ICC rules, safeguarding expectations, attendance requirements, uniform standards, conduct policies, academic expectations, anti-bullying rules, and lawful instructions from school staff.
  • ICC may withdraw, suspend, defer, or review an application/enrollment where information is false, documents are invalid, fees remain unpaid, behaviour creates risk, the placement is unsuitable, or the parent/student breaches school policy.
03

School Fees Terms & Contract

Billing, payment deadlines, arrears, withdrawal, refunds, and recovery.

Signed by:
  • The parent/guardian accepts responsibility for all approved fees, levies, boarding, transport, meals, books, uniforms, examinations, activities, damages, arrears, and other billed school services.
  • Fees must be paid according to ICC’s published fee schedule, invoice, payment plan, or written finance approval. Payment plans are valid only when approved by ICC Finance in writing.
  • Non-refundable fees: application fees, admission fees, enrollment fees, termly tuition, boarding, transport, meals, uniforms, books, examination fees, and other billed school charges are non-refundable once paid, except where ICC expressly approves a refund in writing or where applicable law requires otherwise.
  • No weekly or daily fee apportionment: school fees are charged for the term or approved billing period. A parent/guardian may not demand a refund or discount because the child attended for only part of the term, including one week, a few days, absence, suspension, voluntary withdrawal, relocation, change of mind, dissatisfaction after enrollment, or non-use of school services.
  • Withdrawal notice: withdrawal, transfer, deferment, or boarding cancellation must be submitted in writing and accepted by ICC. Fees already paid remain non-refundable unless ICC Finance gives written approval.
  • ICC may restrict non-essential services, withhold documents/reports where legally permitted, pause portal access, decline re-enrollment, refuse boarding access, or take lawful recovery steps where fees remain outstanding.
  • Currency rules apply according to the approved local, international, Ghanaian, or non-Ghanaian fee category. Bank charges, exchange losses, failed transactions, or third-party payment costs remain the parent/guardian’s responsibility unless ICC states otherwise in writing.
04

Technology Use Agreement

LMS, email, devices, internet, AI tools, digital safety, and monitoring.

Signed by:
  • The student and parent/guardian agree to use ICC digital systems, school email, LMS, online learning tools, internet access, AI tools, school networks, and school devices responsibly and only for lawful educational purposes.
  • Strictly prohibited content and conduct: students must not access, search for, view, store, download, share, create, or circulate pornographic, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, extremist, gambling-related, illegal, abusive, bullying, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate material on any school device, personal device used at school, ICC network, ICC account, or school-related platform.
  • Students must not bypass filters, use VPNs/proxy tools to avoid school controls, tamper with monitoring software, install unauthorised apps, use another person’s account, share passwords, impersonate others, hack systems, spread malware, record or photograph others without permission, or misuse messaging/social media during school activities.
  • AI tools and online resources must be used only as permitted by ICC staff. Plagiarism, exam malpractice, auto-generating work dishonestly, copying, submitting AI work as personal work, or using technology to cheat is prohibited.
  • Personal laptops, tablets, phones, chargers, headphones, smart watches, storage devices, and accessories brought to school or boarding remain the responsibility of the parent/guardian and student. ICC does not insure, replace, repair, reimburse, or pay compensation for lost, stolen, misplaced, damaged, or confiscated personal devices or accessories unless ICC has expressly accepted responsibility in writing.
  • Where ICC lends or issues a device, charger, book, resource, access card, or other property, the parent/guardian accepts financial responsibility for loss, damage, misuse, unauthorised software, missing accessories, or failure to return the item in good condition, subject to fair wear and tear.
  • ICC may inspect devices used on campus or boarding where there is a safeguarding, security, discipline, examination, cyber-safety, or policy concern, in line with school procedures and applicable law.
  • ICC may monitor school-issued accounts, LMS activity, school devices, and school network usage for safeguarding, security, academic integrity, compliance, and operational purposes.
  • Repeated or serious technology misuse may lead to restricted device access, withdrawal of network privileges, disciplinary action, parent meeting, safeguarding referral, boarding review, suspension, withdrawal from examination access, or withdrawal of enrollment where appropriate.
